A therapist-led treatment format where individuals with shared challenges come together to gain support, perspective, and skills for managing life’s difficulties
When you’re dealing with depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, or other struggles, it’s easy to feel like you’re the only one going through it. Group therapy helps break that isolation. It brings people together who are facing similar challenges, creating a space where you can connect with others who truly understand what you’re going through.
Led by one or more trained therapists, group therapy offers both professional guidance and peer support. You’ll have the opportunity to share your experience, listen to others, and learn new ways to cope—all in a structured, safe, and respectful environment.
You don’t have to do the hard work of healing alone. Group therapy provides you with the tools and community to move forward together.
Group sessions typically last about an hour and are focused on a shared issue, like anxiety, social disconnection, trauma, or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Some groups are time-limited and follow a structured curriculum, while others are ongoing and support-oriented. You’ll meet regularly with the same group of participants, building trust and connection over time.
Each session is guided by a therapist who helps maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere. You’ll have chances to:
Even if you’re feeling unsure about speaking up, just being part of a group—listening, observing, reflecting—can offer comfort and insight.
